Guest guest
>Sorry for the long post but I want to try and get this fairly right from the start. Val's not well at the moment so I am doing my best to stay on top of things for her You have a ratio of 10 from those labs and we look for 20 or greater so that explains why you don't feel well!! The dosing and increasing suggestions together with suggested adrenal and ferritin checks are all on here http://thyroid-rt3.com/dosing.htm There seems no point in using compounded T3, use what you have up but after that swapping to standard tablets works fine If you haven't read that site yet have a good read through, it's put together from what gets discussed on the group here Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com

I have the RT3 site bookmarked and I'm now starting to read more from it now that I know that is my problem child :-) The tablets you mention, would they be the Tertroxin? and I dare say they would be a lot cheaper too, What about the Cynomel is it possible for me to import them from an overseas pharmacy, or is the difference between them not worth it cost wise? I forgot [brain fog] to also post 5 days of basal underarm temps that the doc asked me to do, they were 36.1,36.2,36.3,36.2,36.3, seem low but stable to me what do you think? is my adrenal function able to handle the T3 at that? Depends what you are paying. It costs me US$60 for 300 tablets of 25mcg each including postage from Mexico. > >I forgot [brain fog] to also post 5 days of basal underarm temps that the doc asked me to do, they were 36.1,36.2,36.3,36.2,36.3, seem low but stable to me what do you think? is my adrenal function able to handle the T3 at that? The best ones for stability are the oral ones taken at specified times in the day as per the Dr Rind link on this page. http://thyroid-rt3.com/adrenals.htm Nick
