Guest guest
Marjolyn, Thank you so much for giving us your update. It was also good to talk to you over the phone. I'm so glad that this group has helped you get back to ttc. I just know that you will get to that point soon. Now I want to wish you good luck with getting your lining to thicken. Also, can you email Suzanne with your updates so that she can update your profile? Have a look first at your profile in the files section and see what information you need to send her. Her email is: suzanne.d.taylor@... Take care and keep in touch. P.s - You know that we have another member from Cyprus in this group. It would be nice to arrange to all meet one day. Guest guest
, Sorry to hear about your internal hemerroids. I hope you get some treatment soon because I know this can be very painful. I'm sure your period will come soon. It is very rare for an ashermans patient not to get a period after her surgery. Remember Lesia who was told she didn't have any endometrium. She then got her period and boy was it a period. Sometimes, it just takes longer for some to start. Take care and keep us informed. Guest guest
Debbie C, Sorry to hear you weren't successful this month, but hope next time you have better luck and a less hectic sex schedule. To answer you question about flow color and number of days. I feel the same. Before AS, my last normal period was in April of 1998, before I got pregnant with my first child. I remember my flow being approximately 5-7 days as well with pretty heavy flow & red too. I had surgery in August and the first cycle was the best of the three I have had. Now, the flow is approx 3-4 days and very light. One day is pretty decent, but still light. The red is not as bright either and the last 2 of the total of 4 days, it is almost brownish. I think it has a lot to do with our linings and the thickness of our endometrium. W

Guest guest
Hello , I had a similar experience with my tubes. I have had three hsgs and hysts to treat my AS (plus one diagnostic.) Three months after my second surgery an hsg showed that everything looked great and there was fill and spill from both tubes. However six months after this another hsg suggested that my right tube was probably blocked and this was confirmed in my third and most recent hyst. My consultant said this could have been caused by the original infection before my D and C which caused the AS . He also said however that trauma or debris from the op. could be creating the illusion of a blocked tube and it may in fact be clear. I can't quite understand this. Personally I think that the blockage was most likely to have been caused when I rescarred following my second hyst. I may be wrong here but it seems strange that my tubes were clear immediately after my second surgery but not nine months later. Take care, a
Guest guest
That's how mine is too--and I'm about 2 1/2 years since my last surgery--and 1 year since my daughter's birth. It's darker red vs. the 'fresher' blood appearance. It's probably due to our thinner linings. I don't ever shed the lining or tissue fragments that I used to--I guess there's not enough to come out. Guest guest
Marjolyn, Yep still on hormones. My husbands family is from Sanitha, I am sure Poly can tell you where that is, but he was born and brought up in Australia, so our daughter is entitled to 4 different passports. Take care and keep us up to speed. Lesia

Guest guest
Hi Lesia, Yes, I'm very happy my surgery went well. I followed your case and I am sorry that your news was so bad, but I also read that you did get a good period afterwards and that is definetely good news!! Are you still taking hormones now? Sorry, this is non related, I'm just curious, but do you or your husband have any greek or cypriot roots? Your last name sounds greek. Guest guest
Lucila, Sorry to hear that your cervix is scared yet again. Did you have the "in office" procedure yet?? What was the situation? Thanks also for informing us that Dr Vancaillie will be in America for 6 months. Is he going to be working there? Poly
