Doc gave me capsules of magnesium citrate - worked like a charm. Took one every night before bed.

Have you tried magnesium? Magnesium oxide worked best when I needed it, which is one others on this list don't like. It's not the best for bringing up magnesium levels, but can relieve constipation. --Irene>>. major constipation, no BM for over 2 weeks at a time.

Me too. I take three 400mg tablets at bedtime and it works very well. My daughter does the same and used to have all kinds of tummy issues. They are all gone with the Mag Citrate supplementation.

Can I ask what brand you are using of the Mag Citrate?

I use "Solgar" brand for the Mag citrate. I can get it at my local Vitamin Shoppe store.
