I was on 160 mcgs generic cytomel and have ramped up since Dec. Two days ago I started to feel anxious and my blood pressue increased and pulse got up to 97, I am usually 72.

I wrote with my blood work and Val said it could be the beginning of clearing (and to think about being tested fro Hashi's which I will). I only took on dose that day (40 mcg) as I kept checking my B/P and pulse and it was still high until the evening, when it came down to almost normal.

The next day I took a morning dose of 25, an 11:00 does of 25, and a 4:00 dose of 25- and my B/P and pulse went back up. I did not take any more that day.

This morning I took only 5 mcg's of cytomel and my B/P and pulse rose and I am full of anxiety. It is 7:00 in the evening and I still feel it a bit, although my pulse is 83.

Reminder of my blood work done this week.

TSH .010 (.40-4.5)T4 1.3 (4.5-12.0)T3 187 (71-180)Ferritin 84

I am still waiting on the results of my reverse t-3 test.

Questions: Should I take cytomel tomorrow? How much? Could I just stop and see how I feel and build from there? Should I try Armour or slow release t-3? I have everything as I have been working on my hypothyroidism is some way since last Feb.

My basal temp this morning was 97.6, which is up from about 95 from the beginning of this whole process.

I thank you so much for your help. I am trying so hard to get myself healthy and feeling well. I am 48 and exercise everyday- but not today as I was afraid to do so.
