Guest guest
My latest blood test results arrived with the following warning: " The results of your recent blood tests are ABNORMAL and, if ignored, could be potentially dangerous to your health. " My best understanding is that I should not be worried about these, in fact they are progress for someone with an RT3 problem. But I would appreciate your opinion(s). Thank you. TSH 0.021, range 0.450-4.500 T4, Free (Direct) 0.17, range 0.82-1.77 Reverse T3 35, range 90-

Looked at from the point of view of T4 you are very hypo What was the purpose of running those labs? Nick
Guest guest
Nick, to answer your question, the purpose of those labs was " before " and " after " switching to t3 only from Armour. (18 weeks after.) I ran the labs because I feel worse now than I did 18 weeks ago. The complete results are: Thyroid tests, October 2009 vs. February 2010 Reverse T3: Oct 319, Feb 35, range 90-350 Triiodothyronine, Free, Serum: Oct 4.1, range 2.3-4.2, Feb 4.3, range 2.0-4.4 TSH: Oct not tested, Feb 0.021, range 0.450-4.500 T4, Free, Direct: Oct not tested, Feb 0.17, range 0.82-1.77 The " potentially dangerous " message is automatically generated by the lab when anything is way out of (their) range. It would have come up regardless of the FT3. I am increasing Cynomel 6.25 mg every 3 days (currently on 112.5mg/day, divided into 5 doses). My resting heart rate is between 80 and 84 and never varies much. > > > > >My best understanding is that I should not be worried about these, in fact they are progress for someone with an RT3 problem.
