Is there a reasonably priced test for iron/ferritin that does not have to be ordered by a doctor?

I took Ferrous sulfate yes at 4 pm 325 mg that had 65 mg chelated Iron in it.

I woke up very tired today and knew I wanted to start the BlueBonnet Chelated Iron. I took 4 18 mg of BlueBOnnet at 7:45. NOW I am wondering if I took too much at first.

The nurse never called back to give me my results last night even though I requested it. So I am not sure what I am. I just want to feel better.

Should I take any more Iron today or just stick with the 4 18 mg daily until I get my results on Monday.

My temps range from 97.5 to 98 .6 but that just started a couple of days ago.

I was thinking that maybe I needed to take one 12.5 of T4 since I haven't taken any T4 in about 2 months. Please let me know your thoughts.

Blessings,

Sue in OK
