Val and Nick,

I feel stuck for awhile and don't know what else to look into? After I started

the T3 only and had my iron infusions I felt like a milion bucks for 2 weeks and

then down hill. Can't understand what is the problem now that I can't raise more

T3 ,since I have hypo symptoms?

1) How will you explain feeling so good for awhile on 40mg T3 at the beggining

and now even on 55mg very hypo?

2)My cortisol is good,I'm on 32mg HC,but still can't raise more then that T3.

3)My ferritin is very good after the iron IVs,from 15 to 200,but still can't

raise more T3.

4)My electrolytes are bad,low sodium, high potassium and soon will try

florinef, but could that help for tolerating higher dose T3?

5) What else should I look for cheking to be able to raise more T3?

Ever morning waiking up my face is so swollen,my eye lids and my fingers, that is

hypo because during the day when I take the T3 dose the swelling gets better.

It's not from high cortisol because I lowered it from 37mg HC to 30/32mg HC.

I have the heavy legs and hands, which is hypo. My question is if for some reason

I can't tolerate more T3 should I try adding T4 on top of this dose of T3 and

see if that helps? I know it's a base for creating a RT3 but I'm on T3 only for

5 months already and stuck with this dose of T3.I have had improvement from

where I was but now for a long time I'm stuck. What to do?

Thanks

Milena
