Guest guest
Dunno why the link turned out like that but you can just copy and paste it and pull the split together and have a look at it if anyone wants! Thanks! - Stuck with a Terrible upper left side stomach pain (spleen? or gas? constipation?) at the moment! Maybe someone can take a look at this and see if there is any sense in anything.. And why I feel so bad! I was on 27.5 mg HC and 35 mcg T3 when these blood/urine tests were taken. Awaiting the rest of the results before my appointment with a specialist in Belgium!http://nightrangerw eb.net/bloodurin etestbelgium. pdf

I was on 27.5 mg HC and 35 mcg T3 when these blood/urine tests were taken. OK, from that you are hypo still, TSH is not suppressed, T4 only just under range, and FT3 not at the top of the range. Your Vitamin D also leaps out at me, that needs to be 50 at least. The low SHBG ties in with being hypo. That being low helps keep your Free Testosterone reasonable despite the low total figure (iit's the free that is bioavailable and does you any good). nothing else leaps out at me but Val may well have more thoughts on this Nick

Guest guest
These results are the latest I've Received, but not the latest I've Done. This test was from February 10th 2010, which means my FT3, TSH etc. looks a bit different now. TSH is lower, FT3 is a bit higher. Anyway... This was my huge blood test which I did before my appointment with Hertoghe in Belgium in early March! 9 glasses of blood. I rarely do that much.Low blood levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D may means that I'm not getting enough exposure to sunlight or enough dietary vitamin D to meet my body’s demand or that there is a problem with its absorption from the intestines. The latter may be a problem with me...Should I take more than 3000 iu D3 daily? I was a bit worried about my calcium getting too high so I cut back on the D3 to 3000 iu daily. The low SHBG is just depressing. My blood/urine samples just show that I am not well. And I don't feel well either.Right now, I have an amazingly painful feeling in my "spleen-area". Does anyone know what this possibly could be, maybe you have some guesses, Nick? Low stomach acid? Is there a test to check how much stomach acid one's got? Thanks for your reply...! >Maybe someone can take a look at this and see if there is any sense in anything.. And why I feel so bad! I was a bit worried about my calcium getting too high so I cut back on the D3 to 3000 iu daily. Being awake in the day and spending time outside with your skin exposed in the summer gives around 10,000 IU in 30 mins from the sun. I am supplementing at that level and have felt no ill effects from it at all. I believe the 10,000IU of D that I am taking has helped my immune system no end. > >The low SHBG is just depressing. Guest guest
Do you do 10.000 iu D3 all year through or just in the wintertime? Feels like I'm rottening day by day.. No idea. The most likely culprits are too much or too little acid. The main way to tell them apart is to try anti-acids and see if that helps or the hcl and see what that does. One will make it better and one worse! Guest guest
OK going throiugh them, your Ferritin isstil WAY too low, Yes I would bump Vitamin D up to 10,000iu daily for at least 3 months then retest, I have taken that dose for over a year now and have my vitamin D at 80 finally. Your B12 is a bit low so if oyu supplement that you need to raise it, if you don;t a good sublingual B12 in 2500mcg a day would be good. yOU CAN INCREASE SEA SALT A BIT SODIUM IS A TAD LWO. Krill oil (1000-2000mg daily) woudlhelp your cholesterol panel look batter wiht raising the good stuff an lowering the bad. Your TSH is coming UP which is good as it shows your body si notw ready for more thyroid. I woudl increase the T3 now. Your Testosterone is a bit low but not horrible, and the SHBG is lwo due to low T3, th eincreases willhelp bring that up. Your urinary T4 is stil high indicating stil a high Rt3 issue and a need for more T3 to supress it. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

Guest guest
Wow thanks for the detailed and quick reply Val! This test was however taken on the 10th of February so it's not my latest test, but it's my latest Results. My TSH is lower today then it was when I did this test. I'll take more D3. But which vitamin D level are you talking about? This is the hydroxy .25 level I just measured. My normal D3 test called "D3" shows I am in the 60-70s. Which test is the one I should go after? Would B12 shots in the butt be ok to get that up? I am taking a B-Complex (Solgar "100") You are talking about a high rT3 issue in my cells? Cause in my blood, I don't have an rT3 issue any more. I just started taking that great Omega product from New Chapter. It has no krill oil in it though. Which krill product is the best one on the market? OK going throiugh them, your Ferritin isstil WAY too low, Yes I would bump Vitamin D up to 10,000iu daily for at least 3 months then retest, I have taken that dose for over a year now and have my vitamin D at 80 finally. Guest guest
Any B you take orally, by swallowing will not help B12 levels. Stomach acid destroys it. This is why it must be sublingual. What about B12 shots?I will chek out the Krill thanks!!Umm, do you know why my hands are kind of shaking and I have jagged movement ? Guest guest
Well Nick it's always something new. Yesterday and today have been so bad because of stomach problems that I don't know what's what!! I am unsure the split T3 helps me. It's hell doing 10 doses daily that's for sure. I can try to go back to a 5-split and see if I get worse again. Right now, I AM worse - GP found nothing wrong with me when I went there now in pain! Guest guest
Sublingual b12: I take 5,000 mcg daily (yes, five THOUSAND). I have had low b12 problems for many years and the 5,000 sublingual b12 has really helped a lot. It is my understanding that since b12 is water-soluble, it is impossible for me to overdose...any my body can't use is eliminated via urine. My doctor thinks b12 injections are great, she gets them herself, she says they make a big difference in how she feels. I have gotten several, and for whatever reason, they just don't have any effect on me at all. So now I skip the shots and just keep my b12 up with the sublinguals. If I am not really faithful about taking them, sure enough, my b12 level drifts down into the unhealthy zone again. Guest guest
b12 range from my lab is 211-911; I try to keep it in the very top of the range or over. Last July I fell behind on my sublingual b12s and it dropped to 333, which, although technically " in range " , is too low for me to be in good health. Guest guest
Never paid much attention to the flavors. Used to take Cyanocobalamin, now take Methylcobalamin; think they were both cherry flavored.
