Guest guest
I haven't really looked at exactly what is going on, but when I drink two quarts of water in the morning, and two quarts in the afternoon, I feel sooooo much better. I have more energy, my dry eye isn't as bad, and I make it a point to walk more(take the long way around to wherever I'm going). Of course, to do that, you have to have access to a restroom<g>. ----- Original Message ----- From: Jacy Undisclosed-Recipient:; Sent: Friday, January 21, 2005 4:12 PM Subject: Interesting Water Facts Interesting Water Facts75% of Americans, and most of the world population, are chronically dehydrated. In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weakthat it is often mistaken for hunger.Even MILD dehydration will slow down one's metabolismas much as 3%.One glass of water shuts down midnight hunger pangs foralmost 100% of dieters Lack of water is the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses ofwater a day could significantly ease back and jointpain for up to 80% of sufferers.A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficultyfocusing on the computer screen or on a printed page.Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk ofbreast cancer by 79%, and one is 50% less likely todevelop bladder cancer. For more good reading about water, check out:http://chetday.com/waterarticles.htm Hugs, Jacy ~Those who never retract their opinions love themselves more than they love truth. - ph Joubert jacymail@...IM: jacygal - ICQ: 96949087www.geocities.com/mtn_rose Want a signature like this?
