Well looking at my latest electrolyte labs, it's clear that they change fast. They probably change from day to day a lot, so it makes no sense comparing my last two results, which are 3 weeks apart. Anyway.I've been taking 1 tea spoon of sea salt daily for months now. And Potasium has always been at around 4.3 or 4.4, towards the top range. Suddenly, last week, Potassium changed to 3.9. Does anyone know why this is happening? From almost top range to almost bottom range.Ok, so I got a lil worried over my 4.4 value more than 1 month ago, so I stopped eating bananas for a month. Then I got this 3.9 value. I dunno.Serum values of eelctrolytes, especially Potassium (!) doesn't tell the truth anyway. Potassium can be normal in serum but severely low or maxed out in the tissue. So...I guess

RBC tests of ALL the electrolytes is what I need to do, ASAP. I mean, to figure out if ANY of my symptoms are due to unbalanced electrolytes. But is it the serum value of let's say potassium or the tissue value that controls the heart? It the tissue value is too low, and you're loosing Potassium into the serum, serum looks high when the truth is something else!!! Quite dangerous stuff, in my opinion. My GP said you can do RBC tests of ALL the electrolytes, but Potassium is the most important one, he said. He will look into that test for me and we'll talk about the test tomorrow.
