Dear Carol,

What problems did you experience with Gemzar? I have a woman who I'm "supporting" through BC starting it with her chemo.

I believe it's a "trial," similar to the Herceptin adjuvant therapy (taken after Taxotere, in early breast cancer (2 nodes positive) for preventative purposes.

I don't know too much about Gemzar.

andrea, this is the second time i have been on gemzar. i had extreme body pain, from head to toes that would last from day of til about 3 days later, they had me on darvocet for the pain. i didn't have it the first time around, the doctor said because of how much chemo i have had my body just isn't able to take it as well as before.
