So do I say stuff em, and brazenly and openly feed my (now rather large and

toddleresque) baby, or do I give her a cup of milk when I'm downstairs with

them, and go and hide upstairs when we want to feed like I have done on

previous occasions?

---------

Well when DS1 was a baby two of my SIL got very stressed about me bf in front of

them and would always leave the room. When I went to one particular SIL home she

would send me upstairs to her sons bedroom, which was tiny and only had a very

small wicker chair to sit on and feed. I did this a few times but then just

stopped going when the boys were small.

However with Jonty I've got tough and just get on with it, she did ask me when

he was tiny if I could go upstairs and feed. DH " piped up that no she couldn't

because they are both comfy where they are thank you " , she got all huffy and

went into the kitchen and banged a few pots around, I just laughed.

I think over the years my skin has toughened up!! Before I would of gone home in

tears.

He's actually weaning himself now, which is exactly what I wanted him to do. I

don't offer him booby during the day at all and haven't for 6 months. But I do

offer it first thing in the morning or last thing at night. But he is getting

less and less bothered himself now, which is great for both of us I think. :-)
