Guest guest
Yes, there are HUGE differences between Holtorf and . They both address RT3, but 's protocol is not recommended. Please see Val's posts, messages #33356 and #27011, just for starters. > > Don't both use SR T3? Guest guest
Ok, read those messages and see s protocol can be tough on adrenals, it makes sense. I have hashi's and know I'll need to stay on thyroid for the rest of my life. I ordered 's physician book, should be here soon and think I read somewhere that he does treat hashi's patients so it wouldn't make sense to get them off the meds after capturing temp. Surely he uses a different protocol in those cases..So the next question is, what is Holtorf's protocol with SR T3? What does he do differently than ? Does he keep you on SR T3 or does he also use T3 doses throughout the day?<<Posted by: "Margery__W" m.escoffery@... m.escoffery@...Thu Feb 25, 2010 4:22 pm (PST)Yes, there are HUGE differences between Holtorf and . From what I hear Holtorf increases slowly like Val recommends for this group. appears to recommend increasing a lot quicler. I've not met either of these people, this is what I hear people say Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com

Guest guest
I've read that Holtorf's clinics prescribe his own licensed SR T3, but he does acknowledge good results from multi-dosing T3. Yes, treat's Hashi's patients, but his long-term success rate is...debated. Holtorf's website for thyroid education is: http://nahypothyroidism.org More good t3 thyroid info from Dr. Lowe http://www.drlowe.com/ > > > > Don't both use SR T3?
