Secondar AI--what is definitive test?

My initial ACTH before any hormone was 9.9 (10-60) and my FT4 was .97 (.93-1.7)

and TSH 1.580. LH 23.3 (14.0-95.6), FSH 19.5 (4.6-21.5).

I went in for these tests to endo because after being on bio HRT for 5 months I

still felt tire, achy, cold, chills, thinning hair, dry skin, etc. I also had

sonogram of thyroid which showed mild enlargement, complex cysts, and nodules.

The ACTH and FT4 I was told showed secondary AI so I found another doctor to put

me on Armour and Cortef. I've been on the Cortef but not high doses for more

than a year.

Val, do you really think that one test result can signify secondary AI 100%?

Is there other ways to no for sure, other than getting on the Cortef and

thyroid?

I took the other hormones too and I just gained more weight and have since come

off the estrogen and progesterone.
