I've found that some patients really flare badly on Clarithromycin and

have ended up cast in bed. I try and start them on 250 mg x 3 per week

and try and build it up as tolerated to 250 mg twice a day x 3 per week.

I've been really impressed how some patients have turned the corner on

this antibiotic. I generally leave them on a tetracycline as well.

I don't think so. Actually I quite like Macademia nuts as well <g>
