I misunderstood you -- I see from the article that some people _who knew Shirk was a lurking stepper_ thought his reporting of the confession was done to make MM look bad. This is nonsense -- such accusations are just another way of avoiding the issue of this Froistad creepo being a depraved murderer, and a sizeable portion of listmembers thinking their duty was to " protect " him.
