Guest guest
For over three years (yes i've had adrenal insufficiency since then, but never treated with hc, what a shame; all they could say is I had 'fibromyalgia', my own salivary cortisol test indicated adrenal insufficiency but could not find a doc to help me with that) my nails on my fingers were becoming more and more pitted and full of indentations. Even on 35 hc the indentations continued unabated. Then when an infection was suspected due to a lingering high temps since December of 09, if you recall, I increased my hc. I've also been increasing my t3 very very gradually. It is now about four weeks of above-35 hc (between 60-90) and my nails are looking as beautiful as ever! I still have three stubborn nails, whose indentations are taking a bit longer to heal, but all the others look like brand new nails! yippee hurray! Whether it's the hc or the t3 or the combo, I don't know; but I do know that something good is happening! Just thought I'd share it (at least to balance my outrage at Lowe, lol) And my ugly toenails, the big ones, the docs have been recommending all kinds of creams, which I graciously denied, simply resigned myself to summer days without flip-flops; they too are beginning to look beautiful after three years of horror! so thanks again from the botoom of my heart for being there and helping out!
