Guest guest
I posted earlier that my doctor gave me Cytomel today and I plan to start the T3 only treatment tomorrow. My doctor does not believe I have adrenal fatigue, despite some of my symptoms and having a saliva test a couple of years ago that showed low cortisol. She said the only way to find out if I have an adrenal issue is to start the thyroid medicine. She said that I will know that I have adrenal fatigue if my blood pressure drops drastically after starting the thyroid medicine. I would like to know if this has been the experience that others have had if they started T3 with adrenal fatigue. If nobody experienced the drop in blood pressure but weren't able to tolerate the t3 due to adrenal fatigue can you please tell me your experience. I just want to be sure that I know what to look for since the symptoms of hypothyroid are so closely related to adrenal fatigue.
