Guest guest
So you think just leave the HC alone? It's just crazy how my days can be so variable, one day lots of mental energy, motivation and feel so good I cannot go to sleep for hours, a few days later the fog is back again or palps start up and I can hardly stay awake. I really seem to get a low in the early evening, so I was wondering if the front loaded HC was bottoming me out later in the day. I know that there is a lot going on with each adjustment of T3. I am just trying to understand from my symptoms what needs to be done. I think that I have figured out that I squirt adrenaline when I am hypo more so that when I am low cortisol. Does that make sense? It seems like whenever I need to raise my T3 I get the pounding heart at different times of day and wake up at 2-3 am with a sweat and pounding. I thought that my last increase eliminated the palps too, but they came back today. One thing for sure, the bedtime dose of T3 helps me sleep better. I will try to figure out a way to spread out the t3 into more and smaller doses but with the iron and eating it will be hard. I do all of my cytomel bits until they dissolve under my tongue, and I am sure that my stomach is not always empty, so variability in absorption may not be helping either. UPDATE: SO, yesterday I spread out my cytomel into smaller doses every few hours. I kept the HC the same except I changed the times from 730/1030/130/530 to 730/1100/230/600 to see if it would help the afternoon and evening dive. I also stress dosed an extra 5 of HC at 1:00 just to see what it would feel like....would it help my brain fog. I think it may have, I don't know. It didn't help the palps. But what happened is that I wasn't as sleepy at bedtime and I was back to waking up in a sweat every 2 hours all night. The previous 2 nights I was exhausted at 9:00 and slept like a rock. Any idea why the changes I made caused me to have lower cortisol during the night, if that indeed is the reason this happens. I had been convinced it was a hypo symptom because it seemed to get better when I increased the cytomel although the evening sleepiness got worse too. Is it possible that I am taking too much HC and suppressing any of my own production? DO I need to take more or less? Do I need to cut back on cytomel? I am so confused and growing weary and losing confidence in what I am doing to myself. BP still good and pulse now increases with the slightest bit of activity although laying in bed it is still in 60's. Steve
