Guest guest
Multiple replacements is very common. I have had my left hips replaced 3 times and the right twice. Little things happen, like a drifting cup or broken screw. The ball part has always stayed in place <for 17 years> but anytime you have a piece that moves like the socket, it's bound to have a few problems. Was it for the same hip? Good to hear from you. Charlie
Guest guest
Hi Jenni, This is in VA. I understand how you feel. I was 22 when I was diagnosed with arthritis. I was in my last semester of college. I graduated and moved back in with my parents while I was still under my dad's insurance. Six months later, I started Remicade and started to improve. I got a job in DC (I'm from NYC) and moved to VA. That was November 1999 (when I was diagnosed). I'm now 27, still living, in VA, still on Remicade and recently had my 5 year anniversary of being diagnosed. My life has completely changed. Feel free to email me privately if you want to talk more. Take care, Steph in VA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
