Guest guest
>Hi Val and Nick, > >I know Rt3 comes from T4 but can someone taking T3 only have the T3 go into Rt3 if they take too much Cytomel?? No, Rt3 only comes from T4. The usual effect for too much T3 is for it to crash your adrenals instead, this causes temperature to drop > >I spoke to you Val a couple of days ago because I was getting some hypo symptoms back after doing VERY well. I did increase the cytomel by 5mcg a day. I am suspecting a hashi attack but I have had thyroid issues for over 20yrs. Wouldn't the antibodies be done destroying my thyroid by now. My antibodies are in the low 200's. Do the antibodies go away after it does is dirty work? Sorry, don't know, you need Val for that one Nick
Guest guest
So then the temperature drop from it affecting the adrenals can then cause other hypo symptoms? My morning temp 2 days ago was 97.3, I believe. I then added 5 mcg daily per Val and after two days of doing that my temp this morning was 97.9. I am taking adrenal support of dessicated adrenal from Standard Process. I will have to bring this up to my doctor. I see her on the 9th of March. I am only taking adrenal in the a.m. because that is the only place I was low. I probably should do another saliva test. Geez!!!!! I really hope this is antibodies and not adrenal!!!Venizia >Hi Val and Nick, > >I know Rt3 comes from T4 but can someone taking T3 only have the T3 go into Rt3 if they take too much Cytomel?? Guest guest
>So then the temperature drop from it affecting the adrenals can then cause other hypo symptoms? Yep, the full gamut.of hypo and low adrenal symptoms can come from " too much T3 in one go " . > > My morning temp 2 days ago was 97.3, I believe. I then added 5 mcg daily per Val and after two days of doing that my temp this morning was 97.9. That looks good, the adrenal effect is a sharp drop when you take the T3. Well behaved temperatures slowly drift up through the day and down at night. If you crash adrenals with a big dose of T3 your temperature can drop a degree or so 30 mins to an hour after taking the T3. >I am taking adrenal support of dessicated adrenal from Standard Process. Guest guest
Yes when adrenals get weakened and can;t amke enough cortisol again, then flow of thyrodi to the cells is interupted. Thus you get the usual hypo symptoms. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
so what is it saying that my temps went from 97.3 to 97.9 after two days of adding 5mcg. Is it saying I needed more thyroid or is it saying I need more adrenal or is it saying both? And by adding the 5mcg daily am I going to cause more adrenal issues. Sorry this is so confusing.VeniziaSubject: Re: question about too much cytomelTo: RT3_T3 Date: Friday, February 26, 2010, 12:08 PM Yes when adrenals get weakened and can;t amke enough cortisol again, then flow of thyrodi to the cells is interupted. Guest guest
so what is it saying that my temps went from 97.3 to 97.9 after two days of adding 5mcg. I would say it means you are using the T3 properly and it is raising your temps as it should be. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
