A lot of us take a bed time dose of T3 as we put the light out. I find it increases sleep quality enormously. Nick
Guest guest
Nick's website has great info on this http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/dosing.htm a few paragraphs down he lists his own dosing times in detail. > > I'm curious when is the latest time of day people take their t3? I take my latest dose around 5 p.m. and am tired at 8-9 p.m. Tired enough to fall asleep, but because of kids still being awake and some housework needing to be done, I stay awake and by the time I hit the pillow at 10 or 10:30 my adrenaline seems to be pumping, i'm like on a 'seccond wind' and cannot get back that tired feeling I had at 8-9 o'clock. > Also, my temps increase from late afternoon to evening, and I expect temps to decrease that time of day. > Anyone knows what is going on? >
Guest guest
I was on SR HC and SR T3 and found that both did not give me a nice clean cycle. Been off the SR HC for almost a month and I can tell I am getting a good feel of my HC cycle. I found when taking SR HC my HC level would be stronger in the late afteroon and my temps would start to be higher. I am starting to see a slow steady rise in my temps. Today started my cytomel and that will take care of the next issue. I found the SR T3 would fluctuate and it only lasted 6 hours in my system. My current dose for HC is: 7am 10 11am 10 3pm 7.5 7pm 5 bedtime 5 4 hrs apart Today with cytomel I am doing: 8am 5 11am 5 2pm 5 5pm 5 3 hrs apart. > > >Also, my temps increase from late afternoon to evening, and I expect temps to decrease that time of day. > >Anyone knows what is going on? > > > > Sounds like the timing of your cortisol cycle is out. > > A lot of us take a bed time dose of T3 as we put the light out. Guest guest
What does it mean, 'timing of cortisol cycle is out'? how would i adjust it? Or does t3 need to be optimized in order for this temp thing to even out? (I'm on 65 mcg cytomel now and will be increasing to full replacement dose, due to thyroidless) > > >Also, my temps increase from late afternoon to evening, and I expect temps to decrease that time of day. > >Anyone knows what is going on? > > > > Sounds like the timing of your cortisol cycle is out. > > A lot of us take a bed time dose of T3 as we put the light out. If yours are low in the morniing and high in the evening this would explain the timing of the temperatures. Do you take a bedtime T3 dose yet? That helps you be less hypo in the morning and hence better basal and morning temperatures. Nick

Guest guest
Mine were high in the eve. But wouldn't the hc even it all out? > > >What does it mean, 'timing of cortisol cycle is out'? how would i adjust it? Or does t3 need to be optimized in order for this temp thing to even out?
