Guest guest
It usually takes a couple of days to get better. Sometimes I get sore where the injection was and it lasts about 2 days. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Maggie http://www.4HockeyFans.com http://www.4FloridaHockey.com MSN: Maggies1429 AOL: Maggies85 Sherrie wrote: I just had a cortisone injectioon in my knee it was really inflamed now my question is my knee still hurts it is not as painfull as it was before the injection it is a different kind of hurt it akes more than hurts when i walk or just sitting any insight would be nice Sherrie
Guest guest
Sherrie , I have had several of these injections in the last several momths in the knees by two differant DRs I assume youer talking about DEPO MEDROL now my regular rhumy gives me these shots from and through the inside of the knee and it hurts like crap even after being numbed with the freze and this have not never given me much of any releife at all from my pain , now my second ortipedic dr or his pa gave me the same shot without numbing frist stright in the front of the knee cap and it has worked great for about 6 weeks now and it didnt hurt going in either , i was ready to run out of there when she said she wasnt going to numb it frist ! but I'm glad i trusted her cause it helped much better than anything yet ! I've allso taken decadron shots that did help a bit in the beginning but not in forever as for the pain though i still have some and its pretty bad sometimes but its not horrable all the time like before the shot as my knee is gone and needs replaced but im too young and too heavy for it now .so hope this helps you some sherrie . later johnSherrie <scorn720@...> wrote: I just had a cortisone injectioon in my knee it was really inflamed now my question is my knee still hurts it is not as painfull as it was before the injection it is a different kind of hurt it akes more than hurts when i walk or just sitting any insight would be nice Sherrie__________________________________________________
