Guest guest
Original Message...1- Cortisone is never prescribed for Ankylosing Spondylitis, because it isdangerous and because it is ineffective. Ankylosing Spondylitis andSeronegative Spondyloarthropathies are not the same as Rheumatoid Arthritis, hence they do not require and respond to the same medications.I was told that I have a subtype of spondylitis b/c it is not complete or full-blown AS. I have Sacroilitis and sclerosis in both SI Joints. What you are describing sounds similar to what the docs wanted to do to me awhile back. Is getting SI injections of steroids that same thing? ~
