Well, buy a long bolster and place it between the bed or better yet, get two twin beds.or thoses craftmatic beds. and place them together, but a bit apart. Like they did in the old days. It really helps when he is dreaming he is swimming the channel and you are the innocent mermaid getting whacked. LOL.........

We have a sleep number bed....so the bed doesn't move when he wakes up. I don't even notice the movement and vice versa...the only problem we have is a beagle that worms her way from the foot of the bed to the top... in between us. So we have a separater of the beagle kind lol.

Maggie how do you like your bed, I've often looked at them but I had already invested in a new bed when I heard of them.

I love it. My husband has back problems and he sleeps 200% better in the Sleep Number bed than the Serta we had. We have the Sleep Number bed and added a 4 inch Memory Foam cushion on top. It's true that the bed conforms to your body...wheras a mattress you don't sink in right. I don't want to get up in the morning!
