Temp was only 36 degrees. At 2.00 am his reading was 138/77 pulse 59 so he took half a cynomel. Just did the laying/standup test at 6.30 am. Laying down it was 118/70 pulse 58. Standing up 127/90 pulse 78. I did buy him a zrt saliva test. He tried to do it once but he did not have much saliva and he is that impatient it only took 15 mins before he gave up on the test. He will not do it again. Could it be high cortisol? He was taking for 1 cynomel tab four times a day. Guest guest
Well if yoiu have ver tracked BP you knwo it goes up and down alot depending on time of day and what you are doing, e4ven what you are thinking. T3 does nto change BP quickly, I do believe proper thyroid dosing OVER TIME will reduce high BP btu it would not happen that fast. It is more liekly at 4AM he was a bit hypoglycemic and thus ADRENALINE raised his BP.Though his lower pulse argues this. To really see BP improvements thoguh oyu need to tack it ONCE a dy same time for weeks on end and average it. You will see a trend up or down by how well the metabolism is functioning then. I have tracked my BP for over 15 years since I had such horrible high BP it is a miracle I didn;t have a stroke. and there are times it spikes that are out of line wiht my overall levels and you just have to ignore them. This si why trackign it same time every day is important. I try to take mine between 6-7AM every day. I am usually relaxing wiht coffee at that time planning what I have oty do that day. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
