Hi,

I'm new here but have been with the NTH group for a while. Here are my most recent test scores:

I have been on newly formulated Armour since mid December - started at 60-mg raising to 120 mg per day about Feb. 1. Prior to this I'd been on original Armour (120 mg) for 10 years. Late in December, I had heart issues, racing, pounding - went to ER, had stress test Jan 5 and 11, everything ok with heart.

Here are my test results:

November 24, 2009:

Ferritin 206 (range 20-288 ng/mL)

Free T4 1.0 (range 0.8-1.8 ng/dL)

Free T3 312 (range 230-420 pg/dL) Notice these are picograms!

T3 Reverse 25 (range 11-32 ng/dL) Notice these are nanograms!

TSH, 3rd generation 0.02 (range 0.40-4.50 mIU/L) (LOW)

Dec 14, 2009 - Saliva tests:

DHEAS 3.0 (range 2-23)

Cortisol Morning 8.1 (range 3.7-9.5 ng/ml)

Cortisol Noon 1.8 (range 1.2-3.0 ng/ml)

Cortisol Late Afternoon 2.6 (range 0.6-1.9 ng/ml) (HIGH)

Cortisol Night 0.5 (range 0.4-1.0 ng/ml)

Estradiol 0.9 (range 0.5-1.7 pg/ml, postmenopausal) (optimal 1.3-1.7)

Progesterone 33 (range 12-100 pg/ml postmenopausal)

Ratio: Pg/E2 37 (LOW) Optimal 100-500 when E2 1.3-3.3 pg/ml

Testosterone 17 (range 16-55 pg/ml)

I was on 250 mg Adrenal Cortex daily and 120 mg original Armour thyroid at the time of the Nov 24 blood tests. I did not take Armour the morning of the thyroid tests, but did take it after the noon saliva cortisol test. I had been off Adrenal Cortex for 16 days when I did the cortisol saliva tests. I have not taken Adrenal Cortex since Dec 30.

New thyroid tests Feb. 16, 2010 when I was feeling so badly on the reformulated Armour:

TSH 0.01 (0.40-4.50 mIU/L) LOW

T4, Free 1.2 (0.8-1.8 ng/dL)

T3, Free 395 (230-420 pg/dL)

RT3 was not taken on Feb 16.

My only question for this group is: Do I really have an RT3 problem?

Thanks,

Wanda
