Guest guest
Hi , Do you think low carb diets can cause rT3 issues or do you think they just exacerbate them? Also, can kids be subject to this? I've had my daughter, who is breastfed, and myself on a lc diet for the past 15 months now due to candida. At first, the diet worked beautifully for the first few months, it really took a lot of stress off my adrenals but after a few months my rT3 started to build up again and I started having problems again. And my daughter's eczema got far worse, not better, despite any type of treatment that should have helped-probiotics, homeopathy, supplements, etc. So I can't help but wonder if she has a rT3 issue now too, that was caused from a lc diet. Do you think that's possible or is rT3 on lc only caused in people who already have thyroid/adrenal issues?
