Guest guest
So I've heard! It makes sense, too. I did 4 blood samples (omg!) this week... I do at least 1 weekly. Can all this blood draining actually cause my Ferritin to go down? I know draining blood is the "cure" for hemotocrosis patients, where it's important to get Ferritin down. I am trying to get that Ferritin UP! :pAm I making a mistake of drawing so much blood?
Guest guest
The nurse who draws the blood always assures me that it's an " insignificant " loss, but with my low ferritin I don't want ANY losses. Hearing my concern, one very nice Dr. was kind enough to use the smaller " child size " collection tubes for my blood draws. It can't hurt to ask about these. > > So I've heard! It makes sense, too.
