Guest guest
HI NIck, Not sure if you saw my message from very early this morning (US Eastern Time). Can you check to make sure I understand what you mean with dosing increases? Thanks! >After days of frighteningly surreal fatigue, I was a rebel today. I increased my Cytomel from 10 mcg to 15 mcg on my first a.m. dose - after just two days. Felt so much better that I decided to test it at my 2nd dose, increased from 10 mcg to 15 mcg. Felt great still. No hyper symptoms at all. So... did the same thing on my third dose - 10 mcg to 15 mcg. Still felt great. No hyper symptoms. Could my awful symptoms be that I was just WAY too low on T3 and needed this large of a bump?Glad it worked. were you on anything before T3?>>Looking back at the dosing page on your site, I realized that it appears each increase is supposed to be double the existing dosage. Is that correct?>NO>If so, then it's 1/2 tablet, 1/2 tablet, 1 whole tablet... then 2 tablets? If you have 5mcg tablets then use 1 when I say a quarter, 2 when I saya halfso the first few dose combinations taken axross 5 time intervals inthe day. this is based on 5mcg tablets>I'm using 5 mcg tablets. Can you help me figure this out?5, 0, 0,5, 05, 5, 5, 5, 05 5 5 5 5 10 5 5 5 510 10 5 5 510 10 10 5 510 10 10 10 10>>A reminder - on my last labs my T4 was dropping but my TSH had gone from 0.0006 to 1.22, which I assume is an indication that I'm needing more T3.what were you on and how long for. Most people don't feel 10 of T3, that's why I start them there in casethey do!I hope this helps, having reread that page I can think of ways ofimproving itNick
