Guest guest
For about 10 days, the tip of my tongue has been tingling. I didn't really think anything of it; just figured it was from taking ginko herbal tincture straight instead of diluting (like when you take kava and your tongue goes numb, that sort of thing.) Then last night, at dinner, I noticed my lower lip felt numb, too. And also that my tongue felt scalded. I thought that was hot because I had just started to eat, but it wasn't anything hot that scalded my tongue, so I thought it a bit strange. Now today, my right lower lip and jaw feels numb, like dead man's finger. My tongue still feels scalded. I'm not in pain, really, but it's annoying and then I looked it up and found these are the symptoms of Burning Mouth Syndrome! Yikes! What next??! I am on t3 and HC and I'm starting to feel pretty good physically, in fact, I am even able to start exercising again, but I've been having a TON of problems with anxiety and panic attacks, so I don't know how that might fit in. I have also been treating EBV with transfer factor, which actually seems to be working. I also take methyl b12 shots about 3 times a week. Not sure if any of this has anything to do with it. The only thing I changed was about 3 days ago I started taking tyrosine and samE to help boost my neurotransmitters for the anxiety and panic attacks. Any thoughts? I would greatly appreciate any input. Thanks, Kathleen
