Hi, Steph. It's obviously easier (for me anyway) to eat by yourself. If I'm eating out, or with others, that's where another test comes in. I am learning to throw away food, or save it for later when I'm hungry or need to eat again. It took me a while to learn to get rid of food without feeling guilty. But if I feel I want to eat, I do. Not that I'm losing weight, mind you, lol, but at least I'm more comfortable around food. I lost ten pounds immediately when I stopped eating the candy, cake and ice cream like I was in a pig trough at home. I don't miss it one iota. But it's been several weeks and I'm TRYING but have not lost virtually one ounce. And I'm 50 pounds overweight. (I was 60.) sigh. I am new here. I have been trying to eat this way since last

year. But since this year, I stopped doing it as much. The

hardest thing I find is that I want to eat with the family. We

have 3 kids, and 3 meals.

Can I do ie and still eat with the family?
