Hi Barbara,

I pay 50.00 copay for my Embrel. It runs about 1500.00 a month without

insurances so I am told. If I didn't have Ins I could not afford it.

Barbara,

I have to pay $50 a month for Enbrel, but it goes through my

supplementary insurance and not Medicare. The drug companies have

programs to help with the meds if someone cannot afford them. I hope

somebody has the URL's for you.

I hope this helps with the cost. My doctor helped me get something callled

quick assist. They pay for the first 6 months of my meds then my insurance at

work will cover all but $50 every 3 months.

My doctor has just put me on Enbrel, but when I called my insurance company and

pharmicist, it looked like it was going to cost me about $450 a month, since I

have to pay l/3 of what Medicare will pay..... Is this the same experience that

someone else on this list has had?......I can't imagine any drug being this

expensive, and there's no way I can afford this.

I take Enbrel as well and ws going to have to pay a $350 deductible.

Go to http://www.enbrel.com/ra/insurance-help.jsp and call the number

for insurance help and tell them you can't afford the deductible. They

have a program that helps cover it. I pay $6.99 a month (4 injections)

for the first year and $75 a month after that. They don't advertise

their program but they have one if you ask.

Is this the same experience that someone else on this list has

had?......I can't imagine any drug being this expensive, and there's

no way I can afford this.
