I cannot recall, Sandy, the point if she took my pressure after I gained some of the weight back. When I lost the weight, though, she was still talking about my medication thinking I was taking it, but she did not get alarmed, however, I can't remember that last time I saw her, in other words, how much I weighed that last time when she hammered the book at me. I can always call the office to ask about the weight chart because I know that the last time I saw her, she gave me a big lecture. Good question, but I can't answer you. Tai

Tai, After you did all that eating again, did your BP go up? Just curious. Sandy

You know something, Sandy, when my doctor noticed how much weight I lost, she said: "Losing weight does not always mean your blood pressure will go down." I thought, fine, that's great ... now I can go back to eating again. :-) And so I did. I spent the next year eating anything and everything, without regard for anything but my mouth. Now that I'm back again on IE, it feels so good to do it for the right reason. That is for myself. It means freedom for me. I am so happy I learned my lesson. Tai

Tai, I think I posted this once before but my doc didn't notice last year when I had lost a good amount of weight. He said nothing. But the next visit when I had Gained weight and chose not to get weighed, he said" It looks like you have lost weight." Go figure. Sandy

Tai about BP, OK I was just curious because of her statement that being thin/overweight didn't necessarily mean lower/higher BP.  I think I have read that too, that some thin people have high BP as well as overweight people have normal/low BP.  Sandy

Exactly, Sandy. My best friend is very overweight -- never had a pressure problem. My husband also has been overweight (he is now dieting and lost a lot of weight), but he never had high blood pressure. Diabetes, yes, but high blood pressure? No. Sometimes I tell people he gives people high blood pressure, he denies this, he says I always had high blood pressure, and I deny that. LOL! Tai
