Re: flex points & not a happy camper...

Totally agree Tory. In lot's of areas, people in the US have abdicated

personal responsibility - whether its' the folks who are suing Mcs'

for " making them fat " or the groups that feel they're " owed special

treatment " for whatever reason, this has become an epidemic in

this country.

Didn't mean to get political here, but just wanted to say I agree - we

have to take responsibility for own actions and not make excuses.

asked my WW leader about this, and she said that WW does research and

believes most people should be able to lose weight even at the higher point

level. I'm still skeptical and I'll continue what I've been doing as

works. I did finish my first week on flex points yesterday and I used

I believe that you can still loose weight with eating all of your flex points.

On the original 123 plan I could eat between 26 & 33 points a day. Which is a

total of 231 points for the week, plus any activity points. When they changed to

the Winning Points my range was 26-31 which was a total of 217 points, plus any

activiy points. On the new flex plan my target is 28 plus the 35 which equals

231, plus any activity points. >From what I gather WW basically went back to the

original points plan. I lost weight when I did this, and I never ate any of my

activity points.

Me neither, Bev! I was such a couch potato that I swear I just about grew

roots into the chair.
