Guest guest Posted August 4, 2002 Report Share Posted August 4, 2002 Part of the new design of the open toed straight last shoes is a cushion on the back of the heel so no plastizode insert should be needed. We haven't needed one since we've been using the new design. Hope this helps. We have still needed it with . When we tried without his toes would slip.
