Guest guest
Hi Girlscout, it is definitely NOT asberger. I dear friend of mine (Ph.D in biology and a University researcher) has this 'skill' too it and it has a specific name. She associates words with colors. certain words or sounds are 'orange' for her' or 'blue'. I'll ask her what the name for this 'mental skill' is. > > Yes, ma'am, well specifically I can " feel " colors or see words associated > with colors, things lilke that. Guest guest
oooh interesting. has anyone ever tried energy work? I see the energy in colors when people manipulate it Other people don't see the colors - I've asked as many people as I can find. I've just always thought I was a little more sensitive to stimulation than most people, whether its sound, touch, visual. . . I just hear a little more clearly, see a little more and honestly it overwhelms me. I have to seek downtime, quiet and controlled environments. Forget about amusement parks - thats my version of hell! On Fri, Nov 12, 2010 at 9:57 AM, survivingko wrote: > > > Hi Girlscout, > it is definitely NOT asberger. Guest guest
I remembered: it's called synesthesia. Very fascinating. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synesthesia > > Survivingko, > > Thanks for the correction.
