I really need to learn to stop before I'm fully full to the point of maybe saturation - precipitation? So I'll work on that, thanks for sharing, and yes, it takes time. I am so glad I did not eat the cake that I bought today, simply because I was full and did not WANT it. :-) I ate the 2nd half of my lunch just before and I'm sitting here quite well aware that I'm fully full. Not sure if I like that or not. whether I'm too full or not. But I'm definitely full and don't want to eat any more right now. I can't eat any more right now. But I'm not sick full. I'm fully full. Maybe a little too full, that is where I need to take heed. Because I was stopping my reading for each chip, I found myself both eating a little slower, and also feeling ok with eating some of the wrap without reading, too.Best part - I suddenly knew when I was full! I'd only eaten half the wrap (it was big) and half the chips. I was so busy paying attention to the taste of the chips, that truthfully I'd forgotten all about also trying to pay attention to fullness overall - but I think for the first time since incorporating IE ideas into my eating, it came instinctly without my even trying. I'm very excited about this. Thanks to all of you who told me to trust the process and that changes would indeed happen. As you know I do structure my food more than many IE'ers, but it's important to me that I learn to be more mindful while eating and to stop when satisfied/full, so this feels great.
