You did the right thing and your conscience is clear no matter what happens. My

nada says all the time now she wishes she were dead. She used to say she has

nothing left to live for now that my stepfather is dead but she got over that

apparently. In my nada's case as horrible as that sounds with her horrible

physical condition, suffering, mini-strokes etc. I wish she WOULD take an

overdose and kill herself. Let's be done with it.

Anyway my nada asked me a few days ago what I was doing for Thanksgiving and I

told her " sitting in here alone " and she relishes that. Anything that seems to

show to her that I am duplicating her life makes her happy.

If I were going out with friends for dinner, I'd be labeled a 'partygirl' as

nada LOVES to call me as well as calling me a whore (never was one and wouldn't

BE one) and accuses me all the time of paying men to sleep with me and date me

(where she gets THAT from I will never know).

Do what makes YOU happy this Thanksgiving and always. Your health and happiness

come first. Your nada as well as all of ours is beyond help and will never be

healthy OR happy no matter what we do.
