I am one of the very lucky ones having been approved the first time after only 4 weeks. Tell Marlee that braces are considered 'cool' now. They do have awsome colors. Even glasses are cool now. Kylie bought some fake ones at an accessory store and wore those to school because they were so cute!! Man, when I was a kid, you got teased so bad for glasses and braces. Glad I didn't need either til I grew up (and yes, I did grow up!). I hope your GP writes a good letter and sends it to your Dr. Idiot too. When I was little I used to watch commercial and think 'how can they do the exact same thing each time???'. I don't know about any medicine that helps dry mouth, but a good friend of mine has Sjogren's and she sucks on hard lemon drops. She says it really helps to get the saliva flowing.
