Guest guest
this is from nne on's Course in Weight Loss. I didn't complete all the lessons but read the whole book. I love these affirmations to work on NOW, at my present weight, and not when I'm skinny....ha! The New Me * I go skinny dipping in the neighborhood pond. * I wear a bathing suit at the beach and do not feel embarrassed. * I walk through a shopping mall and do not feel unhappy. * I get on a scale and feel proud of myself. * I take my clothes off at the doctor's office and do not feel ashamed. * I know what it feels like to be hungry before I eat. * I go to a party and do not feel inadequate. * I enjoy rolling around and playing games on the floor with young children. * I am proud to know that my family is proud of me. * I am more sensitive than I used to be to the suffering of others. * I see food as a gift for which I am grateful to God, which I would never abuse, and which I wish all people to have enough of. * I enjoy my body. * I enjoy taking care of my body. * I give thanks for my body and the joy it brings myself and others.
