Guest guest
When I asked about calcium with my son years ago, Dr Goldberg said not to worry about taking it, especially with boys. My son is now 22 recovered and never had a problem as a result of not having dairy.Best,Marcia
Guest guest
Marcia,We are addressing some anti-social behavior that may be linked to low activity MAO-A allele that my son carries. We are using Respen-A and it requires extra calcium. :-) Plus, we are doing LOD; when dumping oxalates, they bind up the minerals in your body (sort of a natural kind of chelation) and so you can get low in several minerals because of this (calcium, magnesium, zinc) When I asked about calcium with my son years ago, Dr Goldberg said not to worry about taking it, especially with boys. Guest guest
Are you a patient of Dr. Goldberg? Because lots of other doctors believe in calcium supplementation. :-) So there's no need for calcium supplements? but what if we noticed teeth grinding when sleeping, there are mentions that it means a calcium deficient? Guest guest
My DAN in Turkey does not believe in calcium supplement since it has a potential of making things worse. I also try to follow Yaskoo protocol and it says the same. My son's levels are ALWAYS normal to high without calcium supps. Vegetables have a lot of calcium and my son loooveeesss veggies. Nettle, chammomile are good sources also. If levels are not tooo low in the tests, I would not give it as a supplement. If I do though, I would give supps that can help the calcium transport.
