That was one of the suggestions for the lenght of time I've been fighten this dieases and the out come only is to get worse as we all know at this point !

glad to see everyone so active today LOL at least our mind is somewhere else so that alone tells us it plays a little part in our manageing this crap , but not wanting to argue anything sweeties , hehe ! but just saw you have O/A allso well glad its not bottering you badly mine has just taken my walking and working abilties from me it is unbearable after a few min.s went to see my family Dr this morning he set my up with another surgion to see if he will replace my knee , see him the 20 th ???? my dr sugest me concider letting him DISABLE ME to see how i get this week and think about it and let him know monday if its not any better I guess It has come to the point I was dreading so badly the only real thing that made me think I was still ok he didnt want me to go back on the predisone

Truth being It needed to be soone r body wise but i'm not ready mind set , family, money ,meds , being at home ? just dont know ? Yellow , Harold , kin , , Maggie , nina , everyone , anyone any ideas how to patch this up or if anything will help a while longer the right knee is grade 4 O/A or bone on bone with R/A allso the left knee is a 2 , my brace I called again about today isnt it funny when you call they have allways just faxed something else in or something may know something next day ? AS for Lupus or something eles going on I just cannt point a finger to it except something to do with my job I took a differant job that was extermly stressful to me and was in alot of chemicals and exhaust smoke both gas and dieasel ? well best wishes to all ,

Wouldn't it be better to just replace the whole knee??

your body… you could go back to work. What you do now is pretty

physically challenging.

of mine has been on disability since college and is now considering getting off.

not the end of the line, don’t worry, !!!

surgery your doc suggested scares me, cause there is no going back, but it

might ease the pain

of

walking some. I don’t know why they just don’t let you do the replacements

since you’re grade 4!

If they

ever come through with your braces, that will probably help a lot.

yes I'm at a loss for thoughts and being able to think at the time , I have never not worked and know I wouldn't be able to handle that and cannt stand this so caught in the middle but I just gotta think I guess ? it's a lonely place to be ! wonder how or if we can get our meds from state medicaid or something I wouldnt expect to get remicaid from them any way .

If they turn you down for the surgery you and your doc decide on, you doc can help you file an appeal.

but its the surgion that refused me not the insurance they cut fees to the bone and dont allow alot .

The ones I qualified for, I downloaded the application, filled it out, and took it to the doctor's office. That way all they had to do was write the prescription, put their DEA number on it, sign it and send it in. The nurse really appreciated that because it saved her so much work.
