Guest guest
Hi, Rish. I can relate to what you're saying. It took me a while and a struggle to understand what hunger, moderate hunger that is, feels like. By the time I got really really hungry I felt sick. Now I'm content with feeling hunger. Today I think I felt it once or twice. Breakfast is usually a time though that I feel I need to eat something and lately I haven't been waiting to get hungry, or feel those pleasant stomach signals. I'll be working on it, though. TaiTo: IntuitiveEating_Support Sent: Tuesday, August 9, 2011 6:01 PMSubject: What's going on with my hunger? When I first began intuitive eating, I was so lost when it came to hearing my own hunger and fullness. I spent almost a year avoiding hunger at all costs, that when I finally began it was really hard for me to identify it. So I decided the best way was to wait until I could actually feel the physical signs, like my stomach growling. I still do that a little, but one thing that really surprised me was how infrequently I actually felt hungry during the day. Sometimes I would only feel my stomach growl twice a day. Even now, I'm a little surprised by how I don't get hungry often and I can be moderately full quickly. It's a bit strange. Does anyone else experience that?
