Hi,

I want to do a trial of anitviral therpay for my son who is 9 and has mild Autism. Does anyone have any information, contacts or links I can get information on how to start the therapy and proper dosing amounts? His pediatrician is willing to try the therapy but we are learning together and need information I can give him. I have the document from Stan Kurtz, but wondered if there is additional information I can take to his physician?

I appreciate any help the group can offer.

Thank you

Lori from Nebraska

Lori, Are you able to see a doctor who is an expert at this - there are some in TX which might be close to you.To: mb12 valtrex Sent: Tue, January 18, 2011 5:07:41 AMSubject: Need Help on starting Antiviral Therapy: Proper

Unfortunately, there are no physicians here that are familiar with the therapy.

If you know of physicians in Texas and feel comfortable sharing names, I'd

appreciate it.

We have done a full 4 month course of PCArx, erradicated yeast-his latest test

came back with no strains, but he is still stimming and I can't think of

anything else to try. He hums, he will go off by himself and hum and talk to

himself. He is on vitamins, EFAs, MB12 nasal spray, digestive enzymes. It is the

humming that we cannot stop.

I know we are very blessed, he speaks, is mainstreamed in school, but his

stimming is intense and we'd like to help him. He is such a special young man:)

We have worked with various methods with OTs, tried redirecting him, tried some

medications, but took him off-negative effects but you redirect all the time. I

can't help but wonder if there's a deficiency we are missing. I am also going to

start him back on GABA to see if it helps and thought maybe it's time to try a

trial of anitviral therapy.

Thanks again for your help and replies.
