Guest guest
New member Hi, I joined a week or so ago and never got round to introducing myself. I'm , mum to Josh 3, and Cameron 3 months. We live in the south of England with my partner . My experience of breastfeeding so far has been a bit up and down. Josh was a preemie and in NICU for several weeks so I expressed for him but he never really got the hang of it and started formula at about 6 weeks old. I was bitterly disappointed afterwards, moreso because he now has asthma and eczema but the nurses weren't as encouraging as they could be and told me that he would grow better on bottles. Hmmmmmm. So, I was determined to b/feed Cameron and so far it's going great. We've had a couple of battles with thrush and mastitis but at the moment I'm just LOVING it. It's so good to see him thrive and grow on what I'm providing for him, and there's nothing like the closeness of snuggling up with him to feed. It really makes me laugh when he gets so exited when he sees my boob coming towards him and he smiles as he starts to feed! Anyway, I should sign off before I go on and on! Look forward to getting to know you all,
