Guest guest
You don't have to buy the whole bed at once. We bought just the top "mattress" and put it on top of our old frame and box spring. The top is the one where the bladder with all the air is in is at. Later when you get ready to, you can add the foundation. They have different foundations and different model numbers. One has a massager..that's the one I want to get! Then there's one that you can move the back or the bottom into a reclining position. Here is the website: http://www.selectcomfort.com/ We have the model number 5000 with the dual chambers and wireless remote. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Maggie http://www.4HockeyFans.com http://www.4FloridaHockey.com MSN: Maggies1429 AOL: Maggies85 -----Original Message-----From: paula delarosa [mailto:pdelarosa@...]Sent: Monday, April 11, 2005 4:36 PMRheumatoid Arthritis Subject: Beds and stuff Hi all.... I was checking out the numbers beds also. They're pretty expensive..but I would love to have one. Also, a Craftmatic or similar. Any ideas on what is the best? I think I'll buy one after I buy my lift recliner, motorized scooter, wheelchair, etc etc etc LOL a

Guest guest
I have a Sleep Number Bed too and my husband and I both love it! We were forced to buy a new mattress last year when I could no longer sleep on a spring mattress due to pain in both of my hips. We put the bed on our existing box spring and it cost us under $900, with a mattress topper included. Not everyone can do that, it depends what kind of box spring you have. It has dual controls so your partner can choose a different sleep number and it is so comfortable I hate getting out of bed! You can also change it if you want to watch t.v or read. I would definitely recommend it! > Hi all.... > > I was checking out the numbers beds also. They're pretty expensive..but I > would love to have one. Also, a Craftmatic or similar. Guest guest
I have been sleeping in an adjustable bed for fifteen years. Last year I added a 2 " memory foam topper. Except when I am having a flare, (then I sleep in the recliner) I can sleep in the bed with the head and foot slightly elevated to take the strain off my lower back. I ALWAYS roll onto my right side when I sleep, and before the foam topper, I would wake up with my right shoulder really hurting. With the topper, I can sleep on that shoulder except when I am having a bad flare. Sharon
