I am choosing not to eat the unhealthy lunch that is being served at my office today. I have my lunch with me. I almost ate it before the other food arrived - " so that I wouldn't be hungry " when everyone else was grabbing the food that is offered. Wow. It's so sneaky. I have so much to UN-learn. I am not truly hungry right now. I will enjoy my meal so much better when I am truly hungry, and my body will process it so much more peacefully. Gotta run. Hope everyone is doing well! Sandy Good for you ! I went out to Red Robin today for my " birthday " lunch. My birthday was in the beginning of Aug but this friend hadn't been able to get together until today. I must say I was quite hungry when we went but I think I ate a little faster than I should have and didn't feel my not hungry signal right away. I just wasn't finely tuned to my signals. I feel a bit full now and you know I don't like that. I did leave 1/3 of the burger but I still feel like I ate about 1/4 burger too much. But it tasted good all the way. Maybe now I won't get hungry again at 2:30 like I usually do on work days. It will be interesting to see how it works out and learn a little more about my body's needs. Sunny that was close...
