Thanks for sharing about your wonderful healing. My husband Vic and I have had many miracles, though we are still struggling with our health. In 1989 I was healed of deafness and tinitis in my right ear. Back then I would not set foot in a church because I had some bad experiences. I thought Christians were either crazy or lying. I went privately to a lady for prayer, though I really had lost my faith. She broke a curse in the name of Jesus Christ and it felt like a scalpel dragged along the eustatian tube in my ear. I felt sharp pain for a few seconds, then to my amazement I realised the ear was completely healed!

A year after that, I renounced Yoga and was healed of a lung condition that had me on oxygen.

Vic had suffered from scoliosis of the spine for many years. He had chronic pain and spent a lot of time at the Chiropractor. In 1981 he attended a healing meeting at a Pentecostal church. He went up the front for prayer. His body started shaking and his back was clicking. He was completely healed and has never had to go back to a Chiropractor.

I could go on and on about the things God has done for us, but I guess that is enough for now. I know some people will not believe all this. I know some people will say it is the power of positive thinking etc, etc. I had no idea that my ear was going to be healed and if I had a choice there were other things that were causing me more distress. God is sovereign and does as He chooses. I know he loves each one of us. I do not understand why He allows us to suffer, but I know beyond anything that He is real and He loves me.

rheumatic Day 9

Thought I would follow up on my last post. My entire left side is still working great I am making an appointment with my GP to have him cancel the one with the neurologist. A week ago on Sat. My hand had become completely useless and just kinda hung there, my speech was affected along with my left leg and the left side of my face was completely numb. As I wrote in my other post God healed me of this, if he had not I would be looking at some very serious stuff so I am pretty happy right now !!

I do still have some back and leg pain, last night I had my first muscle spasm in a week.. which in itself is pretty good!! I normally have them every night sometimes all night and sometimes all day.. I have lowered my two meds and have not had any pain pills. However I did get a sinus infection and had to take some antibiotics, thought I would try them and they stayed down!!! I was so happy, I have even tried my doxy and that stayed put also!! My stomach is doing much better, though at the conference in Ohio my husband and I both had some reaction to the food they served so it was not me!! I can not believe I made a trip without having to take pills for my stomach!!

While I do not know exactly why God chose to heal me I do know that I have to share this with anyone and everyone and I have been I am still floating on cloud nine!! It has also helped our church family who have been so kind to me and have been praying.. They still look at me a little funny because I walk in without a limp and a big smile on my face!!! Yesterday when we stood to sing songs I did not have to use the chair in front of me to help me up and down. I also went up front to pray and was able to get down on my knees and was also able to get back up all by myself!! I had stopped going up front because it was too painful and my husband would have to get me back up.. My husband out of habit put his arm around me as we sang normally he does that to help me to stand up..

My husband and I are also going to go back to our plan to adopt, this is something that we both want. Our daughters are 18 and almost 20 and we have enough love and room for more children. We only had the two because I was told that I would not live through having one.. well I did so I had another one and then we decided that since it was so difficult for me that we would adopt.. Seems like things have gotten in the way though through out the years but in the dream I was told I would have my children.

I hope by writing this that it brings each of you some hope of healing in your own life..

I practiced Yoga believing that it was just healthy exercise and relaxation. After all, many health books, T.V. shows, magazines and even much of the medical profession promote it as such. I had no idea of the spiritual origins of it. The bible says "my people perish through lack of knowledge." You may disagree with what I am about to say, however, I can only tell you my experience.

The word Yoga comes from the Sanskrit term for "yoke" or "union." It is based firmly in Hinduism and every aspect has a spiritual purpose, despite claims to the contrary. Yoga practice comes from sun and Baal worship which originated with Nimrod in Babylon, prior to it's adoption by the early Hindus.

You may ask what is wrong with Hinduism? Well, Jesus said "no-one comes to the Father except by Me." The Bible is full of instances where the people came under curses by worshipping other Gods. The people worshipped the sun, moon, stars and carved images instead of the One who created all these things. In Hinduism there are thousands of "Gods" however there are a few that receive more worship than others. One of the main gods is called Shiva. Shiva is a god of destruction who has a wife named Kali, the mother goddess of power, illness and death. I don't know about you but I don't want to be in union with Shiva, which is one of the things that Yoga is designed to do!

I do not know what your beliefs are about God, but I believe there is only one God who sent His only son, Jesus into the world to die on the cross as a sacrifice for our sin. For years I read New Age books, the Bible and anything else I could find. I did not know if Jesus was real. In fact I thought Christians were rather narrow-minded and intolerant. I had cried out to God day and night for so many years for healing and ended up worse than ever, the more I pursued Yoga, Touch For Health, Homeopathy, mind-blanking meditation etc. It was only when I asked Jesus Christ for help that things began to change.

The first thing He did was appear to me and told me He loved me and did not reject me. For me this is what it took, because I was such a cynic and very wounded. I did not trust anyone. I could argue with Christianity but I could not argue with Him. After this I read my Bible from cover to cover. I did not believe in curses but throughout the Old Testament people brought disaster upon themselves by their involvement in these practices.

I had come from a long line of Freemasons which I now know involves the worship of many Gods. In fact they regard Jesus as equal to Bhuda, Shiva, Zoroaster, Baal etc. When I asked God to forgive this sin of my ancestors, that is when I had the miracle of healing in my right ear. I am not saying this will happen for everyone. I can only tell you what happened to me and many other Christians. I am not saying Freemasons are bad people. (my dad is one and I love him) I am saying that we can innocently be involved with things which appear to have noble ideals, without realising the origins of these things and the bondage which can come as a result.

So, I don't know if you understand what I'm saying. I am not out to judge or criticize anyone. I only know what happened to me.
