Guest guest
Hi Sandy, My sincere condolences on the loss of your cat. I have 4 kitties, 2 mine, 2 my husband's. My 2 girls have been with me since they were 6 and a half weeks old, and now they are 8! I know I would feel the exact same way that you do, we have been through so much together. They are my children. So, IMO, your reaction is perfectly normal! I don't know how many other cats you have, but I feel that the best way to honor your kitty is to adopt another one from a shelter, when you are ready. He will never replace your other kitty, of course, they have so many different personalities. Anyway, yes I think a delayed flare is normal, it would take a few days for it to get to where you'd notice it, sometimes I think it could take weeks or a couple of months. Guest guest
Hello Sandy, I am sorry that you had to put your cat to sleep. Yes, this may well be a delayed reaction to putting your little fur ball to sleep. I can remember when I had to put my Siamese cat of 12 years to sleep in 2000. I still think of Sir Precious at times. I know how upset I was...........Joyce M ----- Original Message ----- From: " beacon348 " <beacon348@...> <Rheumatoid Arthritis > Sent: Sunday, May 01, 2005 8:56 AM Subject: question about stress Hello everyone, recently I had to put my dear cat of 6 years to sleep and this was awfully stressful, this happened on Monday and now it is Sunday and I am flaring with my RA awful.
